Please join us for the 1st ever Art & Fashion…..Artist in Action event at EM Jeans, Thursday February 21st 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Steve Griffith will create a painting for United Way of Central Arkansas in the window of EM. Afterwards please join us inside EM Jeans for drinks and light appetizers and a viewing of some beautiful ART. The painting created in the window that evening will be donated by Steve to the United Way of Central Arkansas for their 3rd Annual Jeans & Bling event on Friday March 8th 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Back Achers Ranch. Tickets to the Jeans & Bling event will be on sale that night. Buy your FASHION for the Jeans & Bling event at EM Jeans and they will donate 10% of all proceeds to UWCA on regular price clothing that sells during the Art & Fashion…..Artist in Action event.

Partnering to improve lives in Faulkner and Perry counties, representatives of Kimberly-Clark Corporation recently donated a corporate gift to the 2013 campaign of United Way of Central Arkansas. The $42,205 check represents the company’s match to pledges from the employees at the Conway Personal Care Facility, for a total donation of $84,410 to the 2013 campaign. Over the last year, the facility has donated more than $100,000 to the United Way of Central Arkansas. This includes online pledges and personal contributions that are matched by Kimberly-Clark Corporation.
