Whether you are speaking out on senior citizen care, the homeless, or programs to improve education, you can help inspire and create opportunities for your community. Being an advocate is as easy as discussing why you support United Way or sending a letter to your congressman. Advocating does not require a lot of money or time, but it does take a commitment to talking about our community and how we can engage to improve it.
