Here are just a few examples of the needs in the community and where your United Way donation is going. Last Year:
- 13% of Faulkner County residents over the age of 25 were without a high school diploma or GED
- 1 in every 3 residents received support from a United Way of Central Arkansas funded program
- There were 121 homeless people in Faulkner County
- There were 4,149 children in Faulkner County living in poverty
- 16.3% of residents in the area lived in poverty
- 20% of residents in the area were uninsured
- There were over 15,000 citizens in the area who have a disability
- The Faulkner County Senior Citizens Center provided over 100,000 home delivered meals to local senior citizens
- CAPCA's food pantry served over 1,600 families
